Welcome to 'By The Pen', a series of monthly creative art workshops catered for ladies looking to unleash their creativity in a relaxed and mindful environment.

My name is Raheel and I invite you all to a world of artistic expression and sisterhood.

Drawing from my life long passion for anything creative; whether that be painting, drawing, sewing , knitting, crochet and a love for nature, I have curated a range of delightful monthly workshops for Sydney ladies to enjoy. 

The business name ‘By the Pen’ was inspired by Ayah 4 in Surah Alaq which was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ whilst he was in the cave:

‎( ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَ بِٱلْقَلَمِ( ٤

‘Who taught by the pen’ (4)

I hope to draw inspiration from this verse throughout the workshops as I relay my knowledge, tips and tricks towards you all
